CLEVERTECH’S GREEN AIM

Since years Clevertech has been following an internal policy in favour of the Environmental Sustainability.
Starting with an internal recycling of iron, aluminium and other material used for the production of its machines, passing through a growing  awareness of its employees in recycling paper and plastic in each offices, now Clevertech is driving towards a more important action that is the installation of  Photovoltaic (PV) arrays composed by 432 solar cell and with a global capacity of 109.00 Kwh at full running. At the same time Clevertech will be able to reduce the emission of CO2 for a total amount of 58.000 Kg.

Clevertech’s goal is to became a self-sufficient company from an energetic point of view, using the 100% solar renewable Energy source.
The first step, that takes place in May 2010, is the reclamation of the company’s roof that was built with Eternit. The roof will be changed with a totally new roofing in which the PV will be integrated.
The Eternit disposal will be in laws compliance and followed by a certified organization. This is an intervention necessary to protect the environment and especially the Clevertech personnel’s health.

On June 2010 PV arrays will be totally integrated into the roof to have a zero environment and landscape impact. The installation won’t be visible from outside and within 60 days from the termination of the installation, the PVs must be put under function by the Italian Main Energy company in charge of this operation.

The total cost of this installation is Euro 400.000,00 and it will be paid in 15 years.  Clevertech estimates to amortize the expenditure in 8-10 years.

As you could well understand, this is part of the company improvement project to respect environment, use renewable energies and reach the final aim to became a totally “green” company.
